She is a results-driven development professional with 28 years of experience, including 15 years in senior management roles. Her expertise encompasses implementation, action research, program and grant management, and strategic planning, with a strong focus on social, economic, and climate resilience. She is adept at driving innovation in program design, facilitating capacity building, and engaging in policy research for sustainable development outcomes.
Her professional experience includes significant roles such as Program Manager for South Asia at IM Swedish Development Partner, where she managed programs in social justice, economic justice, and climate justice across India and Nepal. She has also held positions at Indian Grameen Services, CARE India, Centre for World Solidarity, and Vasundhara, managing diverse projects including rural development, financial inclusion, climate change, women-centered livelihood programs, and community forestry. She has managed projects funded by organizations such as the EU, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, DFID, Trocaire, Sir Dorabji Tata Trust, The Nature Conservancy, Cargill Ltd., and Royal Bank of Scotland Foundation.
