Food and Nutrition Security is linked to a number of cross cutting issues in development of individuals and societies. These include gender, livelihoods, poverty and poverty reduction as well as conflicts, crises and natural disasters. To Enhance the Food and Nutritional Security of small and marginal and landless households, i-CI promotes Household level Nutrition Garden and School Nutrition Garden (SNG) in all operational districts. It focuses on improving diversified food availability, accessibility, and utilization in both household’s and in school MDM. Alongside we provide different training and education to women and school children on nutritional value of foods and the relevance of nutrition garden for food production and processing, women take main responsible to feed their families.
